My fondest memories of  high school and living in the C-K communities!

I remember all the crazy stunts we used to pull for a laugh.  I caused my teachers a lot of stress, but I never really disliked any of them.  It just seemed like good free entertainment at the time.  Anyway, I don’t feel too bad about it because even  though they seemed like they didn’t like it much at the time, I know their jobs would have been  a lot more boring if I

hadn’t been around.   Randall Caldwell and I kept the campus at Kenova Graded School spotless picking up papers.  It was supposed to be punishment but we didn’t mind at all.

One of the best times in my life was when I was a mile runner on the C-K junior high track team in 1972 and 1973.  We felt great because of the  physical condition we were in and  it was a really a good time in my life being with the other runners on the team.  Bill Adkins was my toughest competition and my best buddy at the same time.  I don’t think anybody could have made me run any harder than he did if  they’d chased me with a gun.

I remember Dreamland Pool.  I liked the old Dreamland the best, before it burned.  It was nostalgic, a place full of wonderful memories from another era.  In the summer time I lived at Dreamland pool.  My hair was blond and my skin dark. I wore nothing but cut offs and converse tennis shoes for three months.

What I’ve been doing since 1977!

I don’t hang around too long in one place.

So far, forty eight states and nine countries.  Since I’ve been  out of school  I’ve lived in Oklahoma City, Niagara Falls, New York,

Houston, Texas and San Juan , Puerto Rico.

I went to school to be a pilot in 1984 in Waco, Texas.  I’ve lived in Columbus since 1992.

I now work for Netjets as a captain of a

private jet.

I’ve been married twice.  I don’t think I’ll try that again.   I have one daughter.  She likes hanging out with her dad and I’m glad.  We have a lot of fun together.  She’s a senior in

high school now and lives with her mother in Columbus.

This photo was in the Huntington newspaper in 1974 shortly after Evil's snake river jump. The photo went all over the world and was

published as far away as Germany & Japan.
